On Sunday 28 August, 10am to 3pm Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre will Celebrate Wattle Day.
There will be Guided Tours, Guest Speaker, Plant Giveaways. Displays by Howlong Men’s Shed and Environmental Groups. Live Entertainment. BBQ Lunch, Tea and Coffee. Children will be entertained with Scavenger Hunts, Face Painting, Bubbles and Popcorn. Free Admission, BBQ, and Tea and Coffee.

Information about Wirraminna:Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre is run and maintained by volunteers. As you walk around the 4 hectare park, you will pass a large dam, wetlands, natural woodland and native garden beds. This Discovery Centre provides displays and teaching resources. It also houses a live Corroboree Frog display and an aquarium.
It also provides a popular outing for clubs, schools and organisations and many locals and visitors to the region call in to explore the gardens and learn about our local environment.
