DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 28 August\, 10am to 3pm Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre will Celebrate Wattle Day. \nThere will be Guided Tours\, Guest Speaker\, Plant Giveaways. Displays by Howlong Men’s Shed and Environmental Groups. Live Entertainment. BBQ Lunch\, Tea and Coffee. Children will be entertained with Scavenger Hunts\, Face Painting\, Bubbles and Popcorn. Free Admission\, BBQ\, and Tea and Coffee. \nCome for a Sunday drive out of city to Burrumbuttock\, only 32klms North-West of Albury Wodonga. Enquires 0439 285 959. \nInformation about Wirraminna:Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre is run and maintained by volunteers. As you walk around the 4 hectare park\, you will pass a large dam\, wetlands\, natural woodland and native garden beds. This Discovery Centre provides displays and teaching resources.
