Luis’s research focuses on urban biodiversity, citizen science, and the ecological benefits of greening our towns and cities. Whether you’re a gardener, landholder, volunteer, planner, or simply curious about nature, this talk will provide inspiration and practical ideas for creating healthier, more biodiverse cities.
As the final event of Project Sprout, this talk will celebrate the community action and enthusiasm generated through our recent planting blitzes. After getting plants into the ground, this is an opportunity to learn more about the incredible insects those plantings can support, and the important role they play in healthy urban ecosystems.
