The objectives of the Eastern Riverina Landcare Group are to:
- Raise awareness of and increase understanding within the local community of natural resource management issues and the need to adopt a more sustainable approach to land stewardship
- Foster cooperation between landholders and others to undertake action to prevent, treat or control natural resource degradation
- Identify and undertake on-ground works to improve natural resource management
