Our next Field Day activities will involve removing plastic mesh guards from plants at Grasslands Block (Howlong Rd); removing briars; and nest box monitoring , somewhere in the Park.
When: 9am -12 noon , Sunday June 7th (long weekend)
Where: meet at Chiltern Post Office at 9am and we can carpool to Grasslands Block (Howlong Rd)
What to bring: water, hat, sturdy shoes, long pants, gardening gloves. Bring heavy duty secateurs/pruners/snips to cut plastic guards; mattock to remove briars.
We will break for morning tea so bring something to drink , and a chair (or rug) to sit on. “Friends” will provide something to eat for morning tea.
