ZOOM Training session for spotting platypus and recording their location

ACF-AWR is excited to be hosting events again in 2025 for the wonderful citizen science platy-project.

The first event will be a training session on ZOOM.

This session will provide information on:

1. Why this citizen science project is important and how platypus are fairing;
2. How to spot a platypus – habitat/where, when, and watching out for tricksters;
3. How to record your findings;
4. Water bugs/food;
5. OH&S; and
6. Where our field events are being held and what to bring.
