Seed Savers Albury Wodonga member, Alison, is opening her garden in Wodonga again to allow us to view the ongoing transformation of her large suburban backyard into a bountiful self-sufficiency garden. She and her husband make their own compost and mulch, save seeds and grow cuttings to produce a vast range of mainly edible crops.
Alison gave a very well received talk on seed saving at the off Grid Living festival earlier this year and will repeat it as part of this gardening tour. She is a very knowledgeable gardener and is generous with her advice.
The seed bank will not be available at this event but if you have cleaned seed to be deposited, please bring it along. Also excess produce or plants.
Alison invites participants to bring lunch and stay after the tour to share discussion with like-minded gardeners.
Free event but booking required as numbers limited
