‘Street Harvest’ was a pilot project developed in Wodonga in 2010. The Street Harvest Project grew out of a passion for transforming the local food system into one that is sustainable and strong.
The project builds and encourages community capacity and improves food security for Wodonga residents by distributing excess fruit and vegetables, harvested from residential gardens, to local residents and emergency food relief agencies.
The project is being reinvigorated – Please consider growing an extra row of produce in your garden to support this project and Uniting in Wodonga.
All produce can be dropped off at Uniting (1 Nilma Avenue, Wodonga between. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday to Friday).
