Visit our display at the Albury-Wodonga Farmers Market featuring almost 30 samples of invasive garden escapees and plant alternatives. Chat with our Gardens 4 Wildlife Project Officer and volunteers about why the escapees are a problem, how they disperse and what you can do to stop the spread.
Display will also include booklets, handouts and other educational material.
Saturday 7 September is National Threatened Species Day – our display highlights a practical way residents can help protect native plants and animals.
This display will be duplicated at the Albury-Wodonga Farmers Market on Saturday 28 September and the Nail Can Hill Wildflower Walk on the morning of Sunday 29 September 2024.
