Want to explore how digital mapping can help you better understand and manage your property? Join Wodonga Urban Landcare Network’s Healthy Hectares program for a practical, beginner-friendly workshop designed to introduce landholders to the world of geospatial mapping.
Whether you’re interested in planning revegetation projects, tracking farm infrastructure, managing natural assets or simply creating a clearer picture of your property, this workshop will help you get started. The day will begin with an introduction to key geospatial concepts and mapping tools before moving into a hands-on afternoon session where you’ll get the chance to practice creating digital maps.
No prior experience is required, and the workshop will be tailored to participants’ interests and skill levels. A short pre-workshop survey will help shape the content, ensuring attendees get the most out of the day. If you’ve previously developed physical property maps through Healthy Hectares, bring them along and learn how to turn them into useful digital resources.
The workshop will be facilitated by Ana Horta, Associate Professor in Geospatial Science at Charles Sturt University, alongside WULN Project Officer Lily Neyland.
