Help us protect our precious native grasslands by learning how to identify fountain grass and other garden escapees as well as the various techniques to control these new and emerging grass weed species.
We will walk along the Water Rat fire trail in Baranduda Regional Park building our grass ID skills, then chip out and bag an area where fountain grass has started to spread.
When: 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Where: Park at the Howards Road carpark, Baranduda. Turn at the Fire Access Gate sign on Howards Rd.
What is supplied: All tools and any specific safety equipment needed.
What to bring: BYO drinking water. For your safety, please wear covered shoes (preferably boots), long pants, long sleeves, and a hat.
