Discover the nature of Albury Wodonga during the Great Southern Bioblitz (that’s GSB)!
Parklands Albury Wodonga, Wodonga Urban Landcare Network, and Murray Landcare Collective are again hosting the GSB in Albury Wodonga in 2024.
And we’re delighted to see other regional Landcare and Friends groups are also participating, including Corowa District Landcare across Federation Council.
Join in to add your observations and record the nature of Albury Wodonga, from river to hills.
This year the GSB observation period is Friday 20 September to Monday 23 September, 2024.
All observations made during this time can be uploaded to iNaturalist within 2 weeks after the event to be included in the BioBlitz tally.
We’ll be hosting a series of local community events to record observations, and you can add your own observations as well. Get the free iNaturalist app, log in to record your local nature sightings, and everything you add during the GSB period will automatically appear as part of our Albury Wodonga project or elsewhere in the Southern Hemisphere, if you’re outside our local area.
Optionally, join our Albury Wodonga project to keep up to date on what’s happening and see the records as they flow in.
