DEECA will again be holding their annual Environmental Volunteer Managers event – EVM Grow and in exciting news the event will be livestreamed into a hub at Wodonga with morning tea, lunch and an afternoon presentation from a local environmental educator, Karen Retra on the importance of threatened white box grassy woodlands in urban environments.
This event for paid and unpaid managers of environmental volunteers, is a great opportunity to learn, share and connect at our Wodonga hub with other environmental volunteer managers across the north east.

- Session 2: Panel Discussion on innovation and best practice
- Hearing from 3 different projects- Port Philip Eco Centre, Summer by the Sea and Volunteering through Disaster
- Session 3: Collaborative breakout sessions
- Focusing on next steps for individual volunteers, challenges in their programs or their next big focus
