This is an 18km Circuit on Mt Hotham that visits 3 different huts: Silver Brumby Hut 1992 (rebuilt 2006-7), Spargo Hut (1927-8) and Derrick Hut (1967).
With enough cars a car shuffle can be arranged to cut down on the distance.
The tracks vary from fire trails, narrow footpads and a section of a grassy track that is not always clear. There is a fair bit of up and down over the day and there are some steep sections; one coming up after Silver Brumby and another heading up to Spargos Hut.
Unless you are well known to me as a walker, please call me to discuss this walk.
