On this walk we will visit two historic cattlepersons’ huts and learn about two feuding Irish families and what happens when a group of schoolchildren is left unsupervised on a cold night. The walk starts from Watchbed Creek and climbs steadily but not too steeply for a couple of km. We then walk across open country with good views to the huts. After lunch, we turn around and return by the same route. Walk is all on tracks. Good wet weather gear just in case.
