Wild Pollinator Count

The Wild Pollinator Count is a locally based project seeking to raise awareness of pollinator insects.

It’s a citizen science project that anyone across Australia can participate in. We invite you to count wild pollinators in your local environment and help us build a database on wild pollinator activity.

You can join in by watching any flowering plant for just ten minutes sometime in our count weeks (autumn and spring annually).

  • You don’t need to be an insect expert.
  • You don’t need fancy gear.
  • You may be surprised by what you see!

Find out more on our website wildpollinatorcount.com.

We’re grateful for the support of the Slopes to Summit partnership of the Great Eastern Ranges Initiative using a grant from the NSW Environmental Trust that has enabled us to offer a range of events for the November 2015 count.
