Our walk will take us along the sand dune which follows the edge of Winton Swamp and finishes on the Lunette. Lunettes are rare geological features – sand dunes found on the edge of wetlands, formed by sand and soil movement across the swamps, creating a crescent moon shape. While having morning tea on the Lunette, we might be lucky enough to see the resident white bellied sea Eagles.
Returning to the cars. Lunch at Winton Cafe for those who want to.
