About this event: Did you know that every time an account is opened at BankWAW, they plant a tree?
Trees create endless amounts of good. They clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity.
Planting a tree is also one of the easiest and cheapest ways to take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to tackle the climate crisis. It’s also the easiest way that we, as individuals, can reduce our own footprint.
BankWAW’s Banking on Trees program is revegetating the bushland of our local communities, contributing to a better climate, supporting biodiversity, and creating better living conditions for our local communities.
