Turn up the Heat and Move Beyond Coal Campaign

Fri 1 Dec, 2023 | 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

Albury Wodonga Knitting Nannas for Renewables (AWKNR) and ACF Albury Wodonga Region (ACF-AWR) are thrilled to bring you the opportunity to have fun while expressing your desire for more action for a safe climate.

This event is part of Move Beyond Coal’s (MBC) Turn up the Heat Week of Action around Australia that is supported by ACF.

The MBC campaign is an excellent opportunity to collectively raise our voices for a sustainable, coal-free future.  Taking action is especially important with the UN Climate Change Conference – COP28 – happening from 30 November to 12 December.

Invest 20 minutes outside the Hon. Sussan Ley MP’s Albury Office to let her know that her role is to:

  • represent us
  • support the tranistion to clean energy
  • act on a Duty of Care to future generations

We’ll be joined by passionate speakers and fun creatures such as the Deny-o-saurs.

Please join us for a get together on the grass outside the Retro Café from 12.30 onwards.

Other actions you can take:

Action is the best antidote to despair (Jaon Baez).

Don’t miss this great opportunity to join like-minded people and act!  RSVP now!

Please invite your friends and share this event with your networks.
