Wodonga Council is seeking community members to help shape environmental and sustainability priorities across our region.
The committee will bring together diverse perspectives and expertise to inform local plans, policies and projects that matter to our community’s future.
Volunteers and sustainability-minded people from the Wodonga community are invited get involved!
The Wodonga Sustainability Advisory Committee supports Wodonga Council by providing community-informed advice on sustainability and environmental matters.
The committee brings together local perspectives and expertise to explore sustainability ideas, foster collaboration across the community and provide feedback on plans, policies and projects.
In doing so, it helps to ensure that Wodonga Council’s sustainability initiatives reflect community expectations and align with its strategic goals and values.
By joining the committee, community members have the opportunity to share their knowledge, represent local views and help to shape a more sustainable future for Wodonga.
What’s involved:
- Minimum 7 member positions available
- 2-3 year terms
- 4 meetings per year
- $100 remuneration per meeting
Who they’re looking for:
People who care about sustainability, think analytically, and value collaboration. They’re especially keen to hear from people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
