DESCRIPTION:Join passionate naturalists Sue Brunskill and Karen Retra for a slow nature walk in one of Wodonga’s best bush reserves. \nCome exploring with Sue and Karen and be inspired by their knowledge and enthusiasm for nature from wildflowers\, insects and fungi to trees\, birds and wildlife. \nThis is the third and final of our Spring walks in this reserve – the season changes so quickly and there is always something new to see. We’ll compare our findings with the previous Spring walks – you’ll be amazed at what’s changed in a few short weeks. \nWhere: Meet at Swainsona Reserve Access carpark off Felltimber Creek Rd.\nGoogle map: goo.gl/maps/6EtpQtUWSLY2Gu7E6 \nWhat to expect: As usual\, you are in for a treat in this special reserve\, with spring wildflowers in full bloom and all creatures making the most of the nectar boom. Hopefully the Swainsona peas will also be flowering now… Expect to focus on the ‘slow’ and ‘nature’ rather than the walk – exercise is not the priority!  Please be aware that we will be walking on slopes\, on a natural\, unpaved and possibly wet surface. \nWhat to bring: Please wear covered shoes and long pants\, bring mozzie protection and sunscreen and dress for the weather. Welcome to bring your camera\, binoculars etc. \nRegistration prior to the event is essential for communication\, safety and insurance purposes. \n REGISTER HERE
