The well established\, half acre cottage-style garden features primarily native plants\, including unusual specimens\, as well as a small pond\, large bee inn and a gabion for reptiles. The owner is a member of the Australian Plant Society Albury-Wodonga with a wealth of knowledge of native plants.\n\n\n\nChoose between three start times but feel free to stay as long as you wish.\n\nTickets $10 – price includes tea\, coffee\, cakes\, scones\, slices\, quiche and fresh fruit. SUMMARY:National Bird Week – Walk and Talk
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate National Bird Week\, join the AlburyCity environment team for a walk & talk within Corrys Reserve to spot some of our local bird species. Come see the diversity of bird life that these woodlands provide habitat for\, from the fairy wrens to the finches\, lorikeets\, honeyeaters\, parrots and everything in-between. \nThe walk will cross both even and uneven ground\, with a slight inclines and declines. The walk will last approximately 1 hour. \nAny children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event may be cancelled if poor weather is forecast. \nMeeting Point: Corrys Wood Reserve (Eastern end of Corrys Road)  \nWhat to Bring: Binoculars\, hat\, enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing for conditions. \nRegister HERE – National Bird Week – Walk and Talk | AlburyCity (nsw.gov.au) \n\nThe Aussie Bird Count coincides with National Bird Week and is helping researchers better understand the bird species that occur in our urban area.
