You’ll see revegetation efforts firsthand and hear directly from Cassina Environmental and project partners. \nIf you’re a member of the local community\, a landowner interested in boosting biodiversity on your property or looking to purchase your own conservation site\, we invite you to join us at our Walk & Talk where you’ll: \n\nWitness successful revegetation models in action\nUnderstand the vital conservation work happening in your local region\nSee what’s involved in stewarding a conservation site\nExplore opportunities to partner with BushBank for a project of your own\n\n\nWhat is BushBank? \nThe Victorian Government’s $77 million BushBank Program is restoring more than 20\,000 hectares of land across Victoria to create healthy wildlife habitat and capture carbon. The majority of work is taking place on private land through partnerships with private landowners. \nIt’s the most ambitious environmental restoration program in Victoria’s history. \nAbout Upotipotpon \nJust outside of Violet Town\, Upotipotpon comprises two peaceful rural lots with wide open views and high ecological value. \nThis site supports restored Box Ironbark Forest and Heathy Dry Forest\, with the surrounding region home to a variety of native species\, including the Grey-Crowned Babbler\, Squirrel Glider\, Bush-Stone Curlew and Diamond Firetail. \n162 hectares of this site (previously used for sheep grazing) have been restored with revegetation\, supplementary planting and assisted regeneration\, co-funded by Land Life. \nFor more information\, see https://cassiniaproperties.com/property/upotipotpon/ \nAbout Cassinia Properties \nCassinia Properties is an extension of Cassinia’s approach to restore\, reconnect\, protect and steward Australian landscapes.
