DESCRIPTION:his morning walk takes us to Mungabareena along the Murray Rv and up Eastern Hill to a lookout where snow may be visible. DESCRIPTION:This will be a morning walk that loops including some of the Southern end of NailCan hill as well as the river.  There is 300m of height gain.  It is all on tracks of various types: footpad\, firetrail\, paved and a few road crossings.\nThe walk ends at the start of the Yinyamarra Sculpture Trail so those with more time and energy may wish to continue on. SUMMARY:Border Bushwalking Club - Magic Forest\, Stanley
DESCRIPTION:Lets celebrate the end of Winter with a magical day out. This walk takes you into a small area of giant redwoods . Most of the walk is on little used 4WD tracks.  They are mostly very gently undulating with a few short\, steep parts.  We also walk along Higgins Lane with its gold mining history. \nAs the walk starts and ends at the Stanley Hotel  those who wish can stay on for lunch.  I would appreciate early bookings if you intend joining us for lunch. \nFinal booking date: Sunday August 24th.  As soon as possible if you want to join us for lunch at the pub.  The first 9 people who wish to come for lunch will be included in the lunch booking\,  after that we may need to make another booking.
