DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce that the Albury Wodonga Sustainable Living Festival is returning in 2025 — and we’d love for you to be part of it! \nThis year\, the Festival will be held as part of the Albury Twilight Markets on Thursday 13 November\, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at QEII Square\, Albury. \nWe’re inviting individuals\, community groups\, and businesses to get involved by hosting an activity\, workshop\, or information stall that promotes sustainability or environmentally friendly living. This could include interactive displays\, hands-on activities\, educational resources\, eco-products\, and more. \nThe stallholder EOI will be sent out in the coming weeks. Stall holder fees are below\, however Not for Profits will not be charged: \n\n3m * 3m $52\n6m * 3m $92\n9m * 3m TBA\n\nPlease note: Stallholders will need to bring their own setup\, including tent\, table\, chairs\, and any other equipment needed for their space. SUMMARY:Border Bushwalking Club - Porepunkah to Harrietville bike ride. 130km total
DESCRIPTION:This ride will start from the BBQ/Picnic Area overlooking the river at Porepunkah and across the road from the Porepunkah Pub. We’ll follow the rail trail through Bright and link up with the Great Valley Trail to finish at Harrietville where we’ll have lunch beside the river. There are a couple of food vans and cafes where you can buy coffees/lunch or bring your own. There is an elevation gain of 124m between Germantown and Harrietville and it’s about 200m elevation gain between Bright and Harrietville which means it’s downhill all the way back! The trail is fully sealed and suitable for all types of bikes.
