DESCRIPTION:This month’s outing is a collaboration with the Birds on Farms SNSW team \nEveryone is welcome to this August outing (and any other Ovens and Murray outing)  which is a free guided birdwatching workshop on a bird-friendly farm in the Ovens and Murray  region\, led by our wonderful Birds on Farm team.  This workshop will \n\nintroduce you to new birders and  landholders\nprovide you simple ways you can help Save Birds. Save Life.\n\n  \nYou will also be able to \n\nShare your bird knowledge in a friendly relaxed environment.\nLearn Bird ID skills\, and how to make your place more bird-friendly\nExplore  exclusive Birds on Farms monitoring sites with experienced local birders\n\n  \nIf you’d like to learn more about creating bird-friendly habitats\, to visit new birding sites\, or just love birds please come along. \n\nWhen: Saturday 2 August 2025\, 9am to 12 noon. Morning tea will be provided.\nWhere: Brimin\, Victoria (directions will be provided on RSVP).\nWhat to bring: Sturdy footwear\, binoculars (if you have them)\, a water bottle and a\nbirding friend!\nThis experience includes walking ~3km around the farm.\n\n  \nTo attend this event you will need to RSVP to Darcy Creece  darcy.creece@birdlife.org.au

DESCRIPTION:Do you have a broken household item you’d like fixed but need a hand to do so? Then this is your opportunity. \nOur Repair Café is a free meeting place to bring along broken household items such as furniture\, clothing\, textiles and battery-operated appliances and learn how to fix them with the help of experienced\, volunteer repairers. You can also bring along small\, blunt garden tools like secateurs and we’ll show you how to sharpen them. Maximum three items per person per session. A donation is greatly appreciated for the repair of your items.
