DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in observing and documenting nature?\nJoin us for a hands-on training session using iNaturalist\, a popular citizen science platform! \n  \nWhat You’ll Learn \n– Tips for obtaining or confirming identifications of your observations \n– How to contribute to the identification of sightings by others \n– Ways to tailor iNaturalist to your specific interests \n  \nTwo Session Options: \n1. Morning Session: 10:30 am – 12:00 noon \n2. Evening Session: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm \nChoose the time that best suits your schedule! \n  \nWhat to Expect \n– Optional: Bring your smartphone and/or laptop & your photos of nature \n– You’ll have the opportunity to add photos from your phone to iNaturalist during the session \n– We’ll be identifying records added as part of the Great Southern Bioblitz (taken between Friday 20 September and Monday 24 September) \n– Remember\, iNaturalist is just one of many citizen science tools available – come along to see if it’s right for you. \n– Already uploading your finds? DESCRIPTION:Join Parklands Albury Wodonga on a spotlighting walk at Stringybark Conservation Reserve! \nRanger Dan will lead you on a night adventure looking for nocturnal native wildlife such as possums\, phascogales\, gliders\, owls\, and more! \nThis event is free and family friendly. \nWhere: Stringybark Conservation Reserve. Meet at the Baranduda Community Centre car park on Sage Court. \nGoogle map: Sage Court car park. \nWhat to expect: We will be walking on natural\, unpaved\, and possibly uneven surfaces. It may be cold. \nWhat to bring: Please wear warm clothes\, closed shoes\, and bring a personal torch. Remember\, quiet is key! \nWeather watch: We’ll keep an eye on the weather and let everyone who is registered know on the afternoon of the event if we need to postpone. \nPlease register here!
