SUMMARY:Border bushwalking Club - The Huts Walk
DESCRIPTION:A Easter Monday walk. \nThis is an 18km Circuit on Mt Hotham that visits 3 different huts: Silver Brumby Hut 1992 (rebuilt 2006-7)\, Spargo Hut (1927-8) and Derrick Hut (1967). \nWith enough cars a car shuffle can be arranged to cut down on the distance. \nThe tracks vary from fire trails\, narrow footpads and a section of a grassy track that is not always clear.  There is a fair bit of up and down over the day and there  are some steep sections; one coming up after Silver Brumby and another heading up to Derrick Hut. \nUnless you are well known to me as a walker\, please call me to discuss this walk. \n\nGrade 4 Medium-Hard\nLeader: Bernadette\nPhone: 0419241687\nParticipant numbers:12\nFinal booking date: Thurs April 7th\nFor more information and updates about BBC activities\, check www.borderbushwalkingclub.com.au
