DESCRIPTION:Join us for planting along the rail trail just before it enters the town of Beechworth.  Park on Mellish St\, where it crosses the rail trail.  This planting project began in 2017\, establishing native trees and shrubs on either side of the rail trail.  This even is supported by Indigo Shire Council and Beechworth Honey\, who will provide morning tea.

SUMMARY:Birdlife Ovens and Murray outing to Gorton Farm\, Indigo Valley and Chiltern
DESCRIPTION:We will do a semi circular walk and see the adjacent woodland at the paddock edge. There is a gentle climb up to some granite outcrops.  The Gorton farm owners will meet us at this site and take us into the rear paddocks area through a locked gate. There is plenty of parking inside the gate. We will likely have lunch there as well.\n\nBring food and water for the day\, binos\, cameras and a chair(s). Also warm clothing.
