DESCRIPTION:Join Aunty Valda Murray for a women-only session on the banks of the beautiful Travellers Creek west of Wodonga. \nLearn about the revival of traditional crafts in the local context and the varied uses of local natural resources for everyday living\, all while getting hands-on practice in weaving techniques that have been shared for hundreds of generations. \nWhen:  Saturday 23rd July\, 11am-1pm \nWhere: Travellers Creek\, off Bidstrup Rd\, Wodonga (Map on registration site). \nWhat to bring: Please BYO water bottle\, camp chair or picnic rug and dress for the weather. \nCost: No cost\, but places are limited.\nThis community event has been made possible with the support of the Victorian Government.\n\nRegistration prior to the event is essential for communication\, safety and insurance purposes. Please Register Here.
