DESCRIPTION:Join us for a wander to explore the Kiewa River surrounds with a focus on birds\, insects or frogs.\nEach session will be a leisurely walk and chat about habitats\, identification\, citizen science and monitoring opportunities. \nThere are three walks on offer on Sunday 12 November – pick the one that takes your fancy. \nBirds with Ben Humphries\, BirdLife Australia\n9am – 10am\, along the Kiewa River walking trail \nInsects with Karen Retra\, Wodonga Landcare\n10:30am – 12pm\, along the Kiewa River walking trail \nFrogs with Dr Alexandra Knight\, Charles Sturt University\n6:30pm – 8pm\, along the High Country Rail trail (Gullifer Lane to the Kiewa River) \nFREE\, but places are limited. \nBookings: events.humanitix.com/ramble \nFamilies welcome.\nChildren under 5 years\, coming along with other attendees\, do not need a ticket. \nFor event enquiries contact Karen\, karen@wodongalandcare.org.au or 0428 629 099. \nThis event is hosted by Wodonga Urban Landcare Network in partnership with Wodonga Council and funded by the Australian Government’s Murray—Darling Healthy Rivers Program.
