SUMMARY:Peri Urban Pests and Weeds – Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Pest animals and weed species don’t only cause problems on farms – they can do plenty of damage right in town.\n\nThis session will provide practical information on how to manage your property and avoid harbouring unwanted pests.\n\n\n\nLocal experts will discuss best practice control measures for common and emerging weed species plus effective options for dealing with rabbits\, foxes\, feral cats\, and common mynas on peri-urban properties.\n\nThis free event is hosted by Ovens Landcare Network\, in collaboration with Swamps Rivers and Ranges Inc and Rural City of Wangaratta. \nFor more information contact Kerrie at support@ovenslandcarenetwork.org.au or 0418 427 730 \nThe Collaborative change through education on invasive species project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Partnerships Against Pests grant program.
