DESCRIPTION:Join us for an enchanting Moth Night at Castle Creek Bushlands\, Wodonga\, as part of the Great Southern Bioblitz! \nWe’ll set up a moth sheet and special lighting to attract and observe a variety of moths and other nocturnal invertebrates in their natural habitat. \nBring a torch\, dress warmly\, and don’t forget your camera or smartphone if you’d like to help document our discoveries. \nExperience the hidden nightlife of our local bushlands and contribute to citizen science during this unique evening of moth-watching and exploration! \nWe suggest downloading the iNaturalist app and creating a user account if you want to add your records from your mobile as we go.\nYou can also just attend the night for interest if you prefer. Or take photos to add to iNaturalist (or other online platform) after the event. \nWhat to expect: It will be dark and the moth sheet will be located a little way into the bushland\, so we’ll likely walk approximately 1-2km during the event.
