DESCRIPTION:Join fungi enthusiast Tracie MacVean and arborist Tristan Black on a walk to learn about the diversity and curiosities of trees and the fungi kingdom. \nLearn about the anatomy of mushrooms and their relationships with plants and walk away with the basics of how to identify mushrooms in the field. Discover how to contribute to our understanding of native fungi by becoming a citizen scientist and sharing your observance on platforms such as iNaturalist. \nThis walk will take place in Beechworth\, which has an impressive range of heritage listed trees and plenty of introduced and native fungi. The exact location will be released prior to the event. \nRoughly 2 and a half hours each walk. \nThere are public toilets toilets and shelter nearby.
