There is ever-growing interest in community-scale batteries and energy storage. Earlier this year, we asked community energy participants, including those who attended the Community Energy Forum in Beechworth, what they wanted to know about community-scale batteries, and what they’d be interested in learning more about.
Join Dr Marnie Shaw (ANU) for an online presentation that will address your community-scale battery quest ions about size, feasibility, interesting developments, technology and more. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Please book at https://www.trybooking.com/bzwmr and a link will be emailed to you the day before the event.
Dr Marnie Shaw is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Engineering at the Australian National University and a Research Leader in the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program. Her research focuses on how energy storage can best support the decarbonisation of our energy system.
This event is part of the Hume Community Power Hub program which is supported by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian State Government.Download Flyer
