DESCRIPTION:The ride will start from the BBQ/Picnic Area overlooking the river at Porepunkah and across the road from the Porepunkah Pub. If you arrive early\, you can grab a coffee from the Rail Trail Cafe.\nWe’ll follow the rail trail through Bright to link up with the Great Valley Trail to finish at Harrietville where we’ll have lunch beside the river.\nThere are a couple of cafes/food vans where you can buy some lunch/coffee or you can bring your own.\nThere is an elevation gain of 124m between Germantown and Harrietville\, and it’s about 200m elevation gain between Bright and Harrietville which means it’s downhill all the way back!\nThe trail is sealed and is suitable for hybrids and road bikes.
