This is a morning walk followed by lunch to get us in the mood for Mother’s Day. There are a number of short walks from the Mountain Creek picnic ground at the base of Mt Bogong. We’ll walk through lush forest vegetation beside gurgling streams then head back to the cars through different, dryer vegetation. There may be an abundance of fungi, and maybe a few fun guys! Walks are designated as easy, on rough foot tracks, with a couple of short steep pinches. Total distance about 10 km. We’ll have lunch beside the river and share stories of our mothers or other significant women in our lives.
