Friends of Ridge Reserves Wodonga

We are a small group with an interest in the Kent McKoy and Susan Campbell reserves in Wodonga. These reserves cover approximately 20 hectares and provide walking tracks through remnant bush with 360 degree views from various points along these paths out over Wodonga. The reserves are partially maintained for fire risk with large areas that are mown several times a year, with a lot of potential for weed reduction, revegetation of understory plants amongst trees and works to extend and improve the walking paths.

The group is a member of the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network (WULN) and creating partnerships with other Landcare and environmental groups. We are acting as an advocate for these reserves seeking long term plans and investment in the area to protect them for current and future generations and to improve access to and use of these areas by the community.

City of Wodonga are a key support partner.
