A must come to event for readers and writers at the Bibbaringa WoolShed. A regenerative farm just north of Albury. The writers festival is part of the Earth Canvas program designed to link writers and artist with regenerative farmers to create a better future.
Be inspired by the Murray Valley landscape and ecosystems working on Bibbaringa by enjoying a weekend of author presentations on Saturday April 4 . Writers in conversation with Margaret Hickey and/or Day 2 Sunday April 5 an opportunity to be part of workshop. Be creative and improve writing techniques in small groups with the authors.
Writers will talk about recently released books. They are Richard Anderson. Patti Miller, Kim Mahood, Alison Pouliot, Karen Viggers and Amanda Webster.
Saturday night dinner with Alison Pouliot. a writer ( The Allure of Fungi), educator, photographer and natural historian. Will evoke stories of the natural world as well as the non living. Alison is especially interesting in forgotten corners and lifeforms. The stuff that slips between the cracks and is partial to fungal and the spineless. she is an Honorary Fellow at the Australian National University.
