Join members of the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network as Parklands ranger Danny Jones leads this casual Walk ‘n Talk into the unique Eight Mile Creek parklands.

This parkland includes the Eight Mile Creek, sections of the Nine Mile Creek and Woolshed Creek. It contains some unique remnant bush including habitat of the endangered Sloanes froglet.

Learn about the restoration work that has been done over the years to restore and improve this important habitat for threatened species.

This is an easy bush walk on earthen tracks. We will walk approx. 2km in total.

Please dress for the weather including hat, long pants and covered shoes. Morning tea provided, so leave time for a cuppa and chat after the walk.

All are welcome. No cost. Please let us know you’re coming – register here.

Directions to Meeting place: Meet in the Kinross Pub carpark. Look for the Landcare banner.

This event is supported by the Victorian Government.
