Hosted by Seed Savers Albury-Wodonga and Beechworth Food Co op at Black Barn Farm, this is the perfect place to begin your love affair with growing your own food, contributing to biodiversity, discovery of unusual food varieties and connecting with others who are keen to explore the magic of growing your own food from scratch.
The event is free and will include a 1.5 hour session about how to save your seeds (so bring your questions and some examples if you have any). Afterwards you can share a pot luck lunch (so bring something to share) in the old apple packing shed at Black Barn Farm and then take a wander around the property with farmer Charlie who will talk you through his permaculture approach to orcharding and fruit tree propagation.
