The Australian Conservation Foundation are organising a ‘plushie protest’. It is a fun, safe and engaging way to keep nature and wildlife in the spotlight
What do you need to do? The ACF hope that on Thursday 1 October thousands of people will post photos of “plushie protests” to social media in support of strong environment laws to protect nature and wildlife. So grab your Australian animal plush toys or teddies, make some miniature banners and signs, and post your ‘plushie protest’ photos to social media on Thursday 1 October to help create a storm of online activity.
By posting our photos to Twitter and other social media sites on the same day, together we can get this issue trending and demonstrate huge community support for strong laws to protect nature
Its easy and fun to take part- simply click here to register. They will send you a reminder to upload a photo of your plushie protest to social media on Thursday 1 October.
