Join Friends of Nail Can Hill for the launch of our Nest Box project Who lives on Nail Can Hill?
Sunday 15 March 10:00am–12:00pm at Wonga Wetlands.
Over the next few months we plan to install 120 nest boxes on Nail Can Hill thanks to an Australia Government grant. At our launch, experts Jan Mitchell from Albury City Council, Lou Bull from Petaurus Education Group and Dave Smith from ANU Sustainable Farms will help us work out – who is likely to live in them, how to monitor them, where to put them & how to encourage citizen scientists to participate.
Find out about the secret life of Squirrel gliders, parrots, lizards, possums, bats etc – Jan, Lou & Dave will be happy to answer your questions.
As we may go for a walk, we suggest you wear covered shoes and bring a hat. Morning tea provided
All our activities are undertaken under the auspices of Parklands Albury Wodonga, and with the support of Albury City Council
