Part of Albury/Wodonga sustainabile living festival, this is a unique opportunity to learn about and taste native produce (bushtucker) grown on the border. We will start with a casual tour of Bunyip Hollow farm with their extensive collection of edible native plants.
* Learn about the history of the property and it’s conservation of the billiabong as a refuge for endangered wildlife. * * Experience how they sustainably operate the small organic farm, which includes rare breed sheep, pigs, a small vineyard, and a truffiere etc. * * Spend time learning about indigenious foods from what is believed to be the most extensive collection of bushtucker plants in Australia.
We will finish by having a casual lunch provided by chef Jodie Jones from Ebden and Olive utilising native ingredients.
