We’re looking at pollinators at Wooragee Landcare.
That’s not just honey bees, there are about 2,000 species of Australian native bees, and many other pollinators.
At the Wooragee Hall our “passionate about pollinators” presenter Karen Retra will show us some pictures and videos and talk about pollinators and why they are of importance. Then we will venture out and look for them in a local garden. We will discuss how we can have pollinator friendly gardens and farms. Morning tea provided, 10-10.30, then visit a local garden till 12.30/1

Field clothes (covered-in shoes, hat, sunblock etc), a magnifying glass if you have one.
Program starting at Wooragee Hall. Arrive 8.45 in readiness to start at 9.
