Come along to our planting morning on House Creek in ‘the Paddock’ off Huon Creek Rd (just east of intersection with Yarralumla Drive). Residents, families and friends are invited to plant trees and shrubs to restore habitat along the creek where environmental weeds have been removed.
See our ‘Gardens for Wildlife’ display with info and inspiration for gardeners and receive a free native shrub. Kids will love our Habitat Detective activity from 11am-12pm.
Join us for a BBQ lunch and chat about our ‘Restoring Habitat Linkages’ project after planting. This will be a good opportunity to talk to us about being part of a new ‘Friends’ group in this area if you are interested.
Bring your favourite gardening gloves, wear good boots and please dress for the weather. We will provide tools, plants and free BBQ lunch.
On the day, please look for our Landcare signs on Huon Creek Rd for parking and access.
All are welcome. Please let us know you’re coming by registering with our Eventbrite listing here.
