Water resource plans are a key component of the Commonwealth Basin Plan 2012. Twenty water resource plans will be developed in NSW and each plan focuses on a local river catchment and varies in the number of resources, level of development, number of environmental assets, and geography affecting the way the rivers are run.
There are seven draft plans on currently exhibition. Submissions are due Dec 14. It would be helpful if people could provide some feedback on key environmental issues associated with these plans over the next week.
