Residents, families and friends are invited to help the new Friends of Federation Hill plant trees and shrubs to provide habitat links on Fed Hill, near the dam behind Barton St. You can access this location by parking on Barton Street and walking through the vacant block at 31 Barton St.
Our ‘Gardens for Wildlife’ and pollinator displays will provide info and inspiration for all, plus each participant will receive a free native shrub to take home.
Join us for a BBQ lunch and chat with the Friends members after planting. This will be a good opportunity to talk to us about joining this new group if you are interested.
Bring your favourite gardening gloves, wear good boots and please dress for the weather. We will provide tools, plants and free BBQ lunch.
All are welcome. Please let us know you’re coming by registering with our Eventbrite listing here.
Please direct any queries to Lizette Salmon – email: G4WildlifeAW@gmail.com or phone: 0468 320 647.
