Now in its third year, this is a gritty gathering for all those who embrace, support and farm FAIR!
The day starts with Petcha Kutcha presentations (6 minutes each) from 11 local growers and fair food initiatives from across the North East.
A shared community pot luck lunch provides a great chance for everyone to chat before the afternoon sessions which will divide the gathering into two to three groups to discuss topics that the group decide to give attention to on the day.
Fast paced and engaging, the day is a great chance to meet like minded people and discuss the opportunities and challenges of creating a fairer food system. Representatives from a broad range of sectors: farmers, chefs, value adders and eaters!
The day is designed to be informative, naturally unstructured, open minded and a chance to meet others who are on the same page.
Held at the Stanley Memorial Hall and just 80 tickets available. We have sold out every year so be sure to buy your tickets early if you plan to come. All money collected from tickets simply go towards covering costs.
