In our 16 week Caring for Country program, Parklands Ranger Danny Jones will be joined for our regular weekly park restoration sessions by First Nations guide Brendon Kennedy.
Brendon is a cultural tour guide, traditional land manager and craftsman. He was Victoria’s first Aboriginal Landcare Officer and has extensive experience in local bush crafts and interpreting country for community members. Brendon will share an Indigenous view of the landscape we work in.
Come along for one or all sessions, as we find out what the bush can tell us and work on the practical tasks that are protecting threatened species, improving habitat and linking habitat corridors across the region.
